Jamie Colby

Colby has worked for Fox News since July 2003 as a National News Correspondent and Anchor. Prior to being hired by FOX News Channel, Colby worked as a correspondent at CNN and also served as an anchor and reporter for CBS News as well as a anchor fill-in to CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is an attorney admitted to practise law across New York, California, Florida and the District of Columbia. In 2002, she won the Edward R.Murrow National Award for reporting on the terrorist attacks of 9/11. In addition, she was awarded the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000. She also won in 2001, the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week named her "Rising News Star To Keep an Eye On". Alongside her work in journalism, Colby, an attorney was in private practice for ten years. The law practice she was practicing began with an Hollywood entertainment company that assigned Colby to The Tonight Show. She was working with Johnny Carson at the age of 22 both during his contract renewal and divorce from NBC. In January 2015, Colby has served as host and reporter on her Fox Business show, Strange Inheritance.
