Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress from America. Her most well-known character is Skyler White in the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in Drama Series. Apart from her role as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward and Jean Ward, she also appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during preparation for her first job before moving her family from New Mexico to Ohio. She attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna began her journey in Chicago-area theatres for several years. Her next move was to film and television. Anna's debut role was Arden on Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. She continued to appear as an actor in few TV shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 1990's, when she was tapped in a regular role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood over two complete seasons. In 2008 she was cast in the role of Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film as well as other films were also starring her. Gunn has also appeared on stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In 2022 Gunn also played a role in a 4-part audio play podcast called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad is often built around the relationship between Walter White and the wife of his character, Skyler. The strained relationship and final demise mirror the sad end of Walter White.
